The recent realization that we have overlooked vitamin D for decades has shocked much of the medical community. However, it should not surprise the busy clinician, for we encouraged avoidance of the sun and the use of SPF sunscreen. As a result, vitamin D levels dropped drastically.
Likewise, with decades of warning patients about the risks of salting their food, we have inadvertently put our patients at further risk of iodine deficiency. After all, iodized salt was a health mandate in the 1920s to help offset the dietary deficiencies of North Americans and much of the world. As you will discover in this compelling presentation, iodine deficiency can impact thyroid, breast, prostate, gastric, and even brain health. This evidence-based seminar offered by Dr. Meletis will provide clinical insights into how to test for iodine insufficiency, as well as supplement considerations to augment current patient wellness protocols.

One of the most powerful clinical tools that far too few providers know about is Bio-Identical High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid. We all know HA levels drop with the aging process, leading to deep wrinkles, sagging skin, increased joint stiffness, decreased flexibility and premature aging. But that is only the tip of the iceberg, as lower HA levels can dramatically impact inflammation, pain and systemic health as well.
Sufficient bio-identical HA helps maintain the radiant look and feel of skin and body tissues. Thanks to research demonstrating CD44 receptors within the mouth, oral HMW HA when delivered in the form of a lozenge helps maximize benefits and bypass unnecessary HA degradation in the digestive tract. I have discovered in clinical practice and in the medical literature that HA can help slow the “plum to prune, grape to raisin” phenomenon that ravages the human body with the passage of time.
The clinical applications for HA include supporting gum health, dry eyes, ocular and vascular health, and connective tissue resilence, including joints and healthy skin and hair. This webinar will review the current state of the medical literature and offer clinical case discussion of before and after outcomes.
Fortunately, High Molecular Weight HA is now available in oral lozenges for targeted absorption and a wide variety of topical serums to support looking as good as you feel. My patients find these products great complements to their foundational wellness protocols.
At medical conferences such as A4M and IFM, the responses to HMW HA Lozenges and serums have been glowing. Join me in discovering the science and clinical impact that HA can offer you and your patients.

Declining brain function in our aging population is being seen more and more in most clinician’s offices. ADHD, autism and many other cognitive disorders are being seen in a greater number of children as well. Dealing with this onslaught of cognitive and age-related neurological decline will be one of the topics of discussion in this webinar.
Learn about the latest in research on a number of new ways to reverse the aging process on the brain and improve cognitive function for all of your patients, regardless of age.
We will review a number of human clinical trials that have given us information on what dosages of nutrients such as glycerophosphocholine (GPC), phosphatidylserine (PS), and carnitine can make a real difference in brain vitality and health. Unique delivery systems to help your patients stay compliant and show rapid results will also be discussed.

As clinicians we know that vitamin D levels are suboptimal in the vast majority of our patients. The question we all face is how much is enough, what are optimal blood levels and how do we keep within the safe limits while maximizing vitamin D benefits?
The latest vitamin D research from around the world will be discussed. The field of vitamin D research is growing so quickly it is virtually impossible for the busy clinician to keep up. This presentation will review the latest clinical applications, controversy and things to avoid when using vitamin D therapy.
For instance, is it okay to take vitamin A with vitamin D? What about keeping calcium and red blood cell magnesium levels balanced?
Vitamin D deficiency has been linked to:
- Various forms of cancer, including breast, prostate and colon cancer
- Fractures
- Hypertension
- Heart Disease
- Decreased immunity and lowered resistance to influenza and viruses
- Depression
- Pain and Muscle Aches
- High C-Reactive Protein levels
- Insulin Resistance
- Osteoporosis
This is guaranteed to be a compelling presentation that includes empowering facts that you can share with your patients. It will address question such as how many genes are modulated by vitamin D, what percentage of women with osteoporosis on conventional treatment are low in vitamin D, and what are the impact of kidney disease on vitamin D levels? The webinar also will include clinical case discussions of unique clinical application of vitamin D including topical delivery.

Recent advances in liposome technology now allow glutathione to be provided in a stable, oral dietary supplement. Basic science research shows that glutathione works as both an antioxidant and a detoxifying agent. Glutathione plays a very fundamental role in protecting against oxidative stress. Glutathione’s advantage over vitamins C and E is that it works with enzymes that increase its utility.
A study using liposomal glutathione showed for the first time that the enzyme glutathione peroxidase is found to be naturally embedded in LDL cholesterol. Liposomal glutathione was able to slow the oxidation of LDL cholesterol and to slow the formation of the vascular plaque in the animal model. Glutathione-S transferase (GST) is an enzyme linking glutathione to toxins. When it is low, there can be an increased risk for a number of conditions associated with low glutathione. The findings of the animal study suggest that liposomal glutathione may be useful in supporting normal glutathione levels and function.
Glutathione has been found to be low in the bronchiolar lining fluid of the lung during bronchospasm and to be low in the brain cells that produce the dopamine involved in facilitating movement in neurodegenerative conditions. The role that glutathione plays as an antioxidant and detoxifying agent and its role in supporting normal immune function will be reviewed in the presentation.

Every day, I am asked a dozen times, "What can I do to lessen my risk of getting the flu?" The great news is that there are some very simple clinical pearls that we can share with our patients. This straightforward Webinar cuts through all the hype and fear mongering and delivers to you, the busy "wellness provider," the 7 Tips that you can immediately share with your patients. The bottom line? Annually, it is reported some 36,000 people die of the "regular" seasonal flu, with some 200,000 hospitalizations, according to the Centers for Disease Control. This leaves us to wonder: if society as a whole was healthier, had adequate vitamin D levels and sufficient nutritional status would these numbers be so devastatingly large? Together we can make a big difference in the wellness of North America and the world. Join me and invite a colleague or two!

In a clinical setting, perhaps the most common root cause of inflammation is food sensitivity leading to alterations in the neuro-endocrine-immune system. Lectins are digestive-resistant proteins from various foods which can cause food allergies and intolerances and provide the mechanism for chronic gastrointestinal inflammation. As these antigens are exposed to the GALT, up-regulation of the immune system and inflammation ensue with consequent effects on the neuro-endocrine system. Here may lie the reason why one man’s food is another man’s poison. Symptoms associated with lectin exposure include:
- Headaches, brain fog, lack of concentration
- Skin problems such as itchiness, eczema, and acne
- Water retention, puffiness around the eyes, extremities
- Bloating–a very common symptom
- Easy weight gain and stubborn weight loss
- Chronic fatigue and post-meal fatigue
- Chronically clearing throat and excess mucous
- Respiratory symptoms like chronic, (non-illness) coughing
- Joint stiffness and pain (particularly in the morning)
- Urinary weakness or chronic inflammation or infection
- Abdominal pain and gas with meals, excessive belching (lectins can also lower the HCL levels impairing digestion)
- Gastric reflux and upset stomach
- Irritable bowel and spastic colon
- Hyperactivity
- Sinus problems, itchy nose, congestion and post-nasal drip
- Insulin shifts affecting blood sugar balance
This webinar will define lectins and their impact on health.

Upon completion of this clinical discussion, a simple to apply methodology will be acquired on novel ways to approach challenging GI patients. A review of the scientific literature clearly points to how gastrointestinal diseases are all too often self perpetuating conditions that trigger and sustain further disease processes. Dr. Meletis will discuss common GI health conditions and address the specific nutritional needs of the stomach, small intestine and colon. Indeed the GI tract is the epicenter of all nutritional acquisition and maintaining its health is literally the fundamental foundation for all wellness pursuits.

Millions of North Americans suffer from uncontrolled inflammation that leads to
premature aging and undue suffering. Inflammation is associated with countless chronic
diseases that lead to suffering and premature aging.
Scientists have clearly demonstrated links with inflammation and:
|
• Alzheimer’s disease |
• Cardiovascular disease |
|
• Hypertension |
• Diabetes/insulin resistance |
|
• Multiple sclerosis |
• Depression |
|
• Weight gain |
|
In fact, any condition that your patient may suffer from with the modifier of “itis”
at the end of the word (dermatitis, bursitis, colitis, sinusitis, etc.) is linked
to inflammation.
Indeed, wellness and disease both spring forth from the gastrointestinal tract.
After all, the GI tract is the interface between the well ordered micro world of
the human body and the macro-entropic environment that exists outside the human
body.
This webinar focuses on a review of a novel approach to controlling inflammation while enhancing GI health as the foundation for true wellness.

Two-thirds of the adults in the United States are now overweight or obese. Obesity
is an increasing trend in nearly every developed nation and affects people of all
ages, ethnic groups and economic levels. Overweight and obesity are known risk factors
for five major health issues:
|
• Coronary Artery Disease |
• Stroke |
|
• High Blood Pressure |
• Diabetes |
|
• Elevated Triglycerides and Cholesterol |
|
One type of overweight, characterized by abdominal obesity, is particularly serious
because of its role in the development of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.
New research shows that visceral fat, located deep inside the abdomen, contributes
significantly to the onset of the metabolic syndrome, a condition which includes
the early manifestations of the more serious health conditions noted above.
This webinar reviews the background, prevalence and physiology of the metabolic
syndrome, and present VFM-100™, a new, clinically proven dietary supplement
that can reduce the risks of metabolic syndrome by safely mobilizing existing visceral
fat and inhibiting the formation of additional visceral fat while reducing waist
circumference.
